Yoga Instructor
Jessica is a mother of 2 human teens and 5 rescued fur kids. She is a two-time gestational surrogate, carrying twins and a singleton. It was after delivering the twins 5 years ago that she discovered yoga, recommended by her OB as a way to gently get back into shape, build strength, and increase balance and flexibility. Plus, the overall wellness benefits of yoga on your mind and body are unparalleled. Jessica practiced yoga through her entire pregnancy with the baby she delivered in February 2019, and was also a yoga-teacher student during that time, graduating with her CYT200. Her student-teaching hours were completed at Livin' Up 2, where many years ago she was one of the first gym members. Fitness has always been important to Jessica. Her yoga practice- coupled with a caffeine/meat/dairy-free diet and daily cardio- keeps her feeling and looking better at 40 than she did at 20! Her goal is to show people that not all yoga is the same and that the practice is truly for EVERY body! In addition to finding your 'zen', it is a fabulous way to build total-body strength and lean muscle... So much so that it can even replace a daily lifting sesh!
Jessica's Fit Flow x Jess is a fast-paced, muscle-building, power-flow yoga class...So be ready to WORK! Come with an open mind, your mat (we have a few in the gym), water bottle, and a blanket/blocks (if you want). Beginners are always welcome, and pose modifications will be cued. The music is up-beat and fun, and will have you wanting to sing and dance your way through your stretch! Namaste!
